Every hitter in baseball struggles with at least one mechanical thing during their career. For some it may be consistently keeping their hands inside the ball. For others it may be consistently staying on top of the ball. For me it was lunging. Over my entire career I struggled with keeping my body back and not jumping at the ball. When I controlled it, I hit well. When I had a relapse, slumps ensued.
Today’s video tip is a trick I used to train my front leg (and therefore my whole body) to stay quiet on the stride. It worked well for me. Maybe it can help you or someone you know as well.
