The cost of college baseball

The article linked below has been circulating online recently and I thought I would post it as well.  It’s alarming to me to hear how much money families are spending on AAU / Elite teams over many years only to receive a few pennies when their player gets to college.  

Friends have asked me why I don’t try for a head coaching job at the college level.  There are several reasons but this article explains a big one.
